     I was drinking and smoking crack on a daily bases. My life was a mess and dangerously on the edge of death. After a three day binge, I was too tired to continue. Broken and beat up, I knew things had to change. I have been to The Salvation Army ARC before and knew that I needed to go back, if I wanted to get better.

 

     I have been working the trash compactor on docks here at the Adult Rehabilitation Center and have the opportunity to work with a great crew and supervisor. I know that, if I were still in my addiction, I would be dead right now, but through Jesus Christ, The Salvation Army has truly saved my life. As of right now, I have four and half months clean and Jesus is now in control of my life.

 

     Upon graduating the program, I know I have the tools to succeed, and plan to take Jesus with me to guide my life and keep me on the right path.  I know that I can make better decision, and with Jesus' help my additive life is behind me and heaven is in front of me.
